About Julie Crawshay, Creator of The Neuro Farmacist

The Neuro Farmacist was created by Julie Crawshay, a Sydney-based brain cancer caregiver advocate. This page shares a little about who she is and why this resource exists.
Who is Julie Crawshay?

Julie Crawshay is a client services professional and writer based in Sydney, Australia, with more than two decades of experience in operations, research and relationship management. When her husband Nic was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM) — the most aggressive form of brain cancer — Julie Crawshay turned that professional discipline toward a single purpose: making trustworthy brain cancer information accessible to the families who need it.
Why she created The Neuro Farmacist
Sitting in neuro-oncology waiting rooms, Julie Crawshay found that the hardest part was not the lack of science but the lack of translation — peer-reviewed research existed, but almost none of it was written for exhausted families. The Neuro Farmacist is her answer: plain-English, evidence-aware explainers on GBM, treatment and clinical trials, written from the caregiver's seat.
Where to find Julie Crawshay's work
Beyond this site, Julie Crawshay writes on Substack, shares daily resources on Instagram, and has published a free GBM Caregiver's Resource Guide. Every piece is grounded in the same belief: families facing brain cancer deserve clear information and to know they are not alone.
